Astrology & Palmistry Lectures
Vedic Astrology is an ancient Indian science which explains planetary motions and positions with respect to time and their effect on humans and other entities on earth. It is considered one among the 64 Divine Arts (Kalas). Astrology is used to predict future (as well as past and present) events. A person’s horoscope (Janam Patrika) is the map of sky on that date, time and place of birth. By interpreting the roles of the planets, Zodiac signs and constellations and their qualities (the elements, signs and houses) and creating a synthesis, Astrology is able to present a complete and comprehensive picture of the person and his potential, based on his horoscope.
Through the study of astrology, We will be able to understand ourselves better by helping us interpret our actions and reactions in life. When we can interpret the reasons behind how we respond to planetary radiations, then we can take a more active role in working with them, rather than automatically reacting to them. For this reason, astrology is both a science of observation Shastra and an art of interpretation. And it has as much to offer us now as when it first began 5000 years ago.
